Employee Benefits Consultant
Derek Ackerman joined the MJ team as an employee benefits consultant in our Benefits Consulting department. With over a decade of experience in the industry, Derek is well-equipped to provide clients with exceptional service and value. He works closely with them to develop and implement healthcare and benefit strategies that align with their unique company goals. Derek specializes in self-funding, wellness programs, predictive modeling, benchmarking, and marketing/placement.
Prior to MJ, Derek worked for a global risk management advisory, broking, and solutions company. In his role as senior growth consultant, he oversaw the development of new business and ongoing client service, utilizing solutions designed to help clients in the ever-changing world of benefits.
Morgan Agster
Client Executive
Morgan Agster joined the MJ team in 2017 as an assistant account manager in our Benefits Consulting department and was quickly promoted to account manager shortly thereafter. In 2022, she advanced to the role of client executive. In this role, Morgan works to provide comprehensive benefits, health and wellness, and compliance services to clients. Along with servicing the daily needs of our clientele, she strives to provide an extraordinary client experience while managing the marketing and renewal process for new and existing accounts.
Before joining MJ, Morgan worked as a leadership consultant for Kappa Kappa Gamma, where she served as a traveling consultant specializing in the leadership development of collegiate women. She also supported the development and continuation of chapters across the nation. Leveraging the skills she gained, Morgan has a unique ability to see the big picture, enabling her to develop strategic approaches for our clients that help them realize their goals.
Jamie Ancheta
Vice President, Client Experience – Employee Benefits
Jamie Ancheta joined the MJ team in 2016 as a client executive in our Benefits Consulting department. She advanced to the position of vice president, client experience for the Arizona employee benefits team, all while maintaining her role as client executive and providing leadership to the client service team.
In her role, Jamie is responsible for the strategic development and supervision of the client experience. She collaborates with all members of the benefits consulting team to create customized benefit strategies and programming in alignment with the client’s corporate goals and objectives. Jamie is also a certified Group Benefits Disability Specialist (GBDS) and acts as the technical specialist for life and disability benefits for the Arizona team.
Chris Antypas
Lead Pharmacy Consultant
Chris Antypas joined the MJ team as lead pharmacy consultant within our Benefits Consulting department and brings over a decade of industry experience with him. In his role, Chris and his team work to provide value and unparalleled service to our clients while helping them navigate the complex pharmacy landscape in alignment with their unique company goals.
With over 14 years as a practicing pharmacist, Chris is responsible for supporting the development and implementation of high-quality and cost-effective strategies surrounding pharmacy, wellness, and medical care. Chris brings a diverse set of thoughts and recommendations as a result of his tenure as a clinical pharmacist, consultant, and pharmacy owner. His approach is rooted in putting the client and their employees first, making him a great fit for the MJ team and our clients.
Yazmin Arizmendi
Account Manager
Yazmin Arizmendi joined the MJ team as an account manager in the Benefits Consulting department. In her role, Yazmin works closely with the analytics, wellness, compliance, communication, and advocacy teams to execute client healthcare and benefits strategies. Her responsibilities include collaborating with consultants on renewal services and contracts, reviewing plan design summaries, and maintaining productive relationships with carrier, TPA, and vendor personnel.
Prior to MJ, Yazmin acquired over six years of experience in the healthcare industry. In her previous roles, Yazmin was responsible for ensuring a smooth and efficient renewal process for clients and brokers. Having encountered a variety of client expectations and needs, Yazmin has developed a passion for producing the best quality experience for MJ’s clientele.
Angelica Audiss
Client Executive
Angelica Audiss became a valuable member of the MJ team in 2017, initially joining as a population health + wellness strategist in the Benefits Consulting department. Angelica quickly was promoted to the position of population health + wellness manager. Throughout her tenure, she has continued to excel and show passion for providing exceptional client experience, leading her to her current role as a client executive.
As a client executive, Angelica coordinates with all team members to ensure timely execution of all projects. Her responsibilities extend beyond internal coordination, as she actively cultivates positive relationships with key individuals at third-party administrators (TPAs), carriers, and vendors.
Paige Beilby
Director of Analytics
Paige Beilby joined the MJ team as our director of analytics in our Benefits Consulting department. In her role, Paige further bolsters MJ’s ability to forecast program costs for clients and develop strategic recommendations that align seamlessly with each clients’ individualized benefit strategy. Her passion for curating and deploying data models to help clients predict future trends and outcomes seamlessly aligns with MJ’s customized data-driven approach.
With over a decade of actuarial and analytical consulting experience in the Denver region, Paige brings a versatile set of skills and a strong understanding of the Colorado market. Leaning on her expertise, Paige and her team work diligently to create predictive models for claims, customer behavior and financial performance for MJ clientele.
Kayla Berg
Communication Specialist + Graphic Design Lead
Kayla Berg joined the MJ team as a graphic design specialist and has since been promoted to communication specialist and graphic design lead in our Benefits Consulting department. In her role, Kayla works with the benefits consulting team to design and develop various client communication materials, imagery, and graphics to increase employee enrollment, activation, and optimal utilization of healthcare benefits. She is also responsible for the conception, development, and creation of client-specific health and wellness brands in partnership with MJ’s population health + wellness team.
Kayla brings with her numerous years of experience supporting client design projects, and her passion for graphic design is evident in her stellar work. She enjoys the creative aspect of graphic design and pushing boundaries to create powerful messages. Kayla always brings innovative design concepts to the table, making her an invaluable asset to MJ.
Diona Berzoza
Client Executive
Diona Berzoza joined the MJ team in 2010 as a marketing coordinator in the Benefits Consulting department and has since transitioned to serving as a client executive while also leading the account management team. Diona and her team work to develop, integrate, and manage tailored benefit solutions that best fit their clients’ needs. Diona’s areas of expertise include: contract negotiation, plan analysis, cost-saving strategies, benefits administration, marketing, customer service plans, claims processing, wellness and consumer-driven health programs.
With over 20 years of industry experience, Diona has become well-versed in all aspects of employee benefit management and health care. Prior to MJ, she worked as an account executive and marketing coordinator at Duley Bolwar & Associates, as well as a claims analyst at Schaller Anderson. While there, she worked with mid-market and large employer groups across a range of industries.
Julie Bingham
Vice President, Total Rewards Consulting
Julie Bingham joined the MJ team as vice president of total rewards consulting, bringing over 20 years of experience to our team. Julie is responsible for building and leading the compensation and total rewards consulting practice at MJ. With her growing team of analysts and consultants, Julie provides specialized consulting services and in-depth benchmark data analytics to help clients evaluate their total compensation packages and develop innovative rewards programs that align with the organization’s culture, talent market, and strategic priorities.
Prior to MJ, Julie served as a compensation consultant at global firms such as Mercer and KPMG, and as a leader in various in-house human resource and rewards positions over her career. She also worked as a director of HR & total rewards at ADT, a leader in the home security industry. In this role, Julie led the compensation, benefits and rewards, payroll, HR operations, and employee relations teams. Her wealth of knowledge and wide range of experience make her an invaluable asset to the MJ team.
Amy Bittner
Vice President, Business + Community Development
Amy Weeks Bittner joined the MJ team as the vice president of business + community development within our Benefits Consulting department. In this multifaceted role, Amy champions MJ’s community commitment through board service, volunteering, and community-giving initiatives. She also focuses on new business development across all MJ business units and facilitates connections among local Colorado business leaders through networking events, roundtables, and industry gatherings. She is dedicated to relationship management and actively supports our mutually beneficial partnerships.
Amy brings over 18 years of industry experience and a wealth of expertise to our MJ team. She is also dedicated to promoting women’s leadership and advancing equality globally. In 2023, she was accepted into the International Women’s Forum (IWF), an exclusive network of highly accomplished women worldwide.
Sarah Blade
Analyst
Sarah Blade joined the MJ team as an analytics intern and quickly progressed into a full-time associate in our Benefits Consulting department. Currently, Sarah serves as an analyst, where she plays a pivotal role in working with our clients to analyze and understand their healthcare strategy and deliver critical insights through MJ’s proprietary analytics platform, APERTURE®.
Prior to her role at MJ, Sarah pursued a master’s degree in management at Butler University. Through her experiences in this program, Sarah realized her passion for data-driven decision making. Sarah effectively leverages her expertise to deliver critical insights facilitating easy and quick access to clean and comprehensive information for MJ and our clients. Sarah’s curiosity and unwavering commitment to expanding her knowledge and skillset have made her an invaluable addition to MJ.
Mark Bower
Principal | Vice President of Sales + Strategy
Mark Bower joined the MJ team in 2009 as an employee benefits consultant within our Benefits Consulting department and brings over a decade of industry experience with him. In 2022, he was named vice president of sales + strategy. Mark and his team work to provide value and unparalleled service to our clients while helping to execute healthcare and benefit strategies in alignment with their unique company goals.
In his role, Mark specializes in maximizing employee benefits strategies to support an organization’s business goals and objectives. Through his efforts, Mark manages costs and risks, enhances employee recruitment, increases employee retention and satisfaction, creates pharmaceutical solutions, and improves communication and perception of benefits to employees.
Tami Brodie
Senior Account Manager
Tami Brodie joined the MJ team in 2010 as a marketing coordinator in our Benefits Consulting department and has since been promoted to the role of senior account manager. In her role, Tami and her team work to provide comprehensive benefits, health and wellness, and compliance services to clients. Along with servicing the daily needs of our employee benefits clientele, she strives to provide extraordinary service while managing the marketing and renewal process for new and existing accounts.
Prior to working at MJ, Tami worked as a medical underwriter at RGI. With over 25 years of industry experience, Tami’s expertise lies in cost and Rx analysis, medical underwriting, contract review, marketing, and carrier negotiation. Leveraging her expertise, Tami works in tandem with the analytics, wellness, communication, and compliance teams to provide the best possible programming while tailoring strategies to fit each client’s needs. She loves that her job allows her to create meaningful relationships with clients and carriers alike.
Cherie Brodzik
Senior Account Manager
Cherie Brodzik joined the MJ team in 2013 as a marketing coordinator and was quickly promoted to become an account manager within our Benefits Consulting department. She has since been promoted to a senior account manager, where her and her team work to provide comprehensive benefits, health and wellness programs, and compliance services to our clients.
With over 20 years of experience in employee benefits, life and disability insurance, and health and wellness programming, Cherie’s main goal is to better evaluate, analyze, plan, and manage her clients’ employee benefits programs and strategies. Utilizing her expertise and leveraging her passion for fostering positive client relationships, she provides extraordinary service while managing the marketing and renewal process for new and existing accounts.
Mollie Broglia
Senior Account Manager, Team Lead
Mollie Broglia joined the MJ team as an assistant account manager in the Benefits Consulting department. Mollie was quickly promoted to the role of account manager and subsequently to senior account manager. In her current leadership position, Mollie provides guidance to her team in developing and maintaining client healthcare and benefits strategies. To this end, she collaborates closely with the analytics, wellness, compliance, and communication teams to ensure the effective execution of these strategies.
Furthermore, Mollie is accountable for preparing custom client materials, advocating on the client’s behalf, and assisting in the marketing and renewal process for new and existing clients. Additionally, she fosters productive relationships with carriers, TPAs, and vendor personnel.
Branden Bushelle
Manager of Data and Automation
Branden Bushelle joined the MJ team as a database analyst in the Benefits Consulting department and has since been promoted to manager of data and automation. In his role, Branden manages all database processing functions, including merging, purging, and cleaning data. Branden also plays a critical role in developing and implementing databases and providing analytics to optimize efficiency and quality for MJ’s clientele.
Prior to MJ, Branden’s previous experiences included engineering, with an interest in data integration, making him an excellent fit for this position. Branden brings with him a robust ability to use his innovative mindset to problem-solve and develop solutions that enable MJ to be the tech-enabled, data-driven organization that it is today.
Monica Ceja
Communication Consultant
Monica Ceja assumed the role of communication consultant within our Benefits Consulting department upon joining the MJ team. In her role at MJ, Monica works collaboratively with our clients to develop and execute custom communication strategies around their employee benefit plans. Monica is responsible for working cross-functionally with other team members to develop multi-channel communications that drive action, awareness, and engagement in our client’s benefits programs.
Prior to joining MJ, Monica has spent more than a decade leading and strengthening her communication skills in her previous roles. Using her strategic mindset, Monica creates communications that are consistent, engaging, and easy to understand. Her passion for client experience and providing exceptional deliverables make her an invaluable asset to the MJ team and our clients.
Matt Cerchiai
Employee Benefits Consultant
Matt Cerchiai joined the MJ team as an employee benefits consultant in our Benefits Consulting department. With a client-focused approach, Matt works with clients to connect their business goals to their overall employee benefits program and strategy. In his role, he collaborates closely with clients to pinpoint current cost drivers within their benefits program and explore potential cost-saving solutions, helping propel their businesses forward.
Prior to MJ, Matt worked as a realtor helping both buyers and sellers achieve their goals. Through this role, Matt gained incredible insight into delivering an exceptional client experience and tailoring solutions to meet clients’ ever-changing needs. This experience coupled with his drive to help others reach even their loftiest goals make him a great fit for both the MJ team and our clients.
Eric Charles

Eric Charles joined the MJ team in 2014 as an employee benefits consultant in our Benefits Consulting department. With past experience delivering solutions for qualified defined contribution plans, Eric is a highly valued member of the team, where he focuses on consulting group clients on cost-saving benefit solutions.
Eric’s expertise lies in employee relations and communications, benefits technology, plan design and analysis, consumer-driven health plans, and prescription drug cost containment. Additionally, he has experience in the development and implementation of employer sponsored onsite clinics and wellness programs. Eric strives to provide unparalleled service by working with clients to truly understand their business and designing innovative solutions that align with the company’s corporate goals and objectives.
Aaron Cook

Aaron Cook joined the MJ team as a client advocate in our Benefits Consulting department. Through his hard work and determination, Aaron has since progressed to the position of an account manager. In this role, Aaron supports the day-to-day operations of existing employee benefits clientele and works closely with the analytics, wellness, compliance, communication, and advocacy teams to execute client healthcare and benefits strategies.

Abby Craig

Abby Craig joined the MJ team as an analyst in our Benefits Consulting department. Abby was quickly promoted to manager for our analytics team. In this role, Abby partners with clients to understand their strategy
and deliver critical insights concerning their employee benefits. She works to validate data, produce reports, and identify new opportunities through research and analysis.
Prior to MJ, Abby excelled in actuarial studies at Butler University. Abby’s statistics and analytics experience enables her to analyze data effectively by recognizing trends and patterns to draw meaningful conclusions that drive business decisions. This data-driven mindset is invaluable as she is able to turn data into actionable insights for our clients, putting them one step closer to achieving their business goals.
Betty Crossland
Public Sector Market Development
Betty Crossland joined the MJ team in 2012, managing public sector market development within our Benefits Consulting department. In her role, Betty is responsible for managing benefits plans, challenges, and solutions for public sector employers, specifically school corporations. Additionally, she works to develop relationships with public sector employers and associations for potential employee benefits partnerships.
Prior to joining MJ, she was a benefits consultant and regional manager at NISBenefits. With over 40 years of industry experience, Betty brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the Benefits Consulting team.
Frank Crossland
Employee Benefits Consultant
Frank Crossland joined the MJ team in 1974 as an employee benefits consultant within our Benefits Consulting department and quickly grew to become one of the agency’s top performers. Frank and his team work to provide value and unparalleled service to all of our clients, a practice Frank has had in place throughout his entire career.
Frank collaborates closely with his clients to understand their unique business objectives and designs innovative strategies in alignment with the company’s corporate goals. He has a broad base of specialties, including employee benefit plan design, plan funding arrangements, pharmaceutical solutions, population growth, insurance trust management, wellness, and healthcare clinic development and integration.
Holden Crossland
Employee Benefits Consultant
Holden Crossland joined the MJ team as an employee benefits consultant in our Benefits Consulting department. In this role, Holden consults with existing and prospective clients to understand their business needs. He identifies potential risks and develops strategies to manage costs and drive results for our client’s employee benefits programs.
Prior to MJ, Holden most recently served as a sales consultant for Paychex, Inc., where he promoted the Paychex software platform and consulted with existing clients to upgrade services and total contract value. He earned several achievements while serving at Paychex, including “Rookie of the Year” for his segment and area, and he is bringing his distinguished abilities to our team and clients at MJ.
Alex Dantin
Data Architect
Alex Dantin joined the MJ team in 2017 as a data architect and has been integral in the development of our data analytics system and capabilities. In his capacity, Alex shoulders the responsibility of conceptualizing and executing a comprehensive data warehousing system and a forward-looking data strategy, encompassing processes, governance, and in-depth analysis. His collaborative efforts extend to closely working with numerous teams, aiding in the proficient development and evaluation of reports. These reports serve as a wellspring of both tactical and strategic recommendations tailored to the needs of MJ’s clientele.
Prior to joining MJ, Alex worked as a business intelligence technologist at Allegion, where he was responsible for information analysis and reporting between business units and IT resources. Through his dedication to data analysis, Alex forecasts future trends, allowing MJ’s clients to implement the appropriate mitigation strategy in alignment with their needs.
Amy Davis
Vice President, Growth + Development – Indiana Employee Benefits
Amy Davis joined the MJ team in 2015 as a client executive in our Benefits Consulting department. Since joining, Amy has held various seats within the department, such as the director of strategy and operations and the vice president of client experience. She is now serving as the vice president of growth + development for the Indiana employee benefits team.
In her role, Amy is responsible for developing and executing the most cost-effective and strategic benefit options for clients in alignment with their business goals and corporate objectives. Amy also oversees the coordination of carrier activities. She acts as the internal conduit between analytics, wellness, communications, and compliance to ensure that all teams within the Benefits Consulting department work seamlessly to execute personalized client strategies.
DeAnn Deck
DIRECTOR OF BENEFITS COMPLIANCE
DeAnn Deck joined the MJ team as the director of benefits compliance in our Benefits Consulting department. DeAnn brings over 35 years of experience and industry knowledge to the team. In her role, she identifies, evaluates, reports, reviews, and communicates regulatory requirements to our employee benefits clientele. DeAnn performs in-depth legal research and analysis with the goal of helping our clients navigate the increasingly complex realm of compliance. She also consults with our clients on health and welfare compliance issues regarding eligibility, plan administration, and other federal legislation.
Prior to MJ and throughout her career, DeAnn has held various client-facing roles. Using her prior experience as an account manager, DeAnn understands our client’s day-to-day needs and is able to deliver compliance information to them in a timely, actionable way. Her vast knowledge and expertise in employee benefits compliance and legislation have made her a true asset to our team.
Sean Evans
Employee Benefits Consultant
Sean Evans joined the MJ team in 2018 as an employee benefits consultant in our Benefits Consulting department. With a future-focused approach, Sean works with clients to connect their business goals to their employee benefits program.
In his role, Sean and his team help identify the primary cost drivers affecting our clients’ benefit plans and work to develop custom, tailored solutions designed to solve complex health insurance issues, contain prescription drug costs, and provide analytics to track success and forecast future opportunities.
Breanna Evans
Director of Population Health + Wellness
Breanna Evans joined the MJ team as our director of population health + wellness in our Benefits Consulting department. As the cost of healthcare continues to rise, Breanna works with clients to create valuable, engaging and cost-effective wellness solutions. Breanna leads MJ’s talented and growing team of population health and wellness professionals who leverage innovative tools and resources to design, implement, and measure the effectiveness of evidence-based programs that promote healthy behaviors, prevent illness, and improve overall population health.
Prior to MJ, Breanna worked at a cloud-based employee wellbeing solution company, where she managed a book of business of national and global organizations and collaborated with client vendors to improve benefits utilization. She has a strong understanding of health clinic models and extensive experience developing strategic wellness programs based on client objectives and rooted in data. Using this skillset, Breanna partners with clients to assess their unique needs and challenges, and tailor comprehensive data-driven strategies to address them effectively.
Nicole Fonner
Executive Assistant
Nicole Fonner joined the MJ team as an executive assistant to President of Benefits Consulting and Chief Growth Officer Andy Vetor. In her role, Nicole focuses on organization and management, with an emphasis on accuracy and confidentiality. Additionally, she is responsible for preparing internal and external materials for team members and industry partners, delivering sales support by building strong client relationships, and coordinating executive communications.
Prior to joining the MJ team, Nicole worked as an executive assistant to the general manager at The Alexander, a Dolce Hotel. With her exceptional event planning skills and willingness to assist other departments, Nicole is well-equipped to provide the necessary support to all of MJ. Her unwavering commitment to meeting deadlines and her infectious positive attitude make her an ideal candidate for supporting cultural efforts within our organization.
Gabby Fonseca
Senior Wellness Coordinator
Gabriela (Gabby) Fonseca joined the MJ team as a wellness coordinator in our Benefits Consulting department and was quickly promoted to senior wellness coordinator. In her role, Gabby works closely with the client service teams to act as an internal wellness consultant. Gabby collaborates with the wellness team to understand the wellness needs of our clients and develop a wellness strategy in alignment with each client’s unique goals and objectives.
Before joining MJ, Gabby gained extensive experience in the healthcare industry by working in various roles such as member champion, assistant women’s soccer coach, and physical therapy technician. Her commitment to going beyond traditional wellness programs and developing dynamic solutions for our clients makes her an invaluable member of the team.
Kendall Furlong
Communications Coordinator
Kendall Furlong assumed the role of communications coordinator within our Benefits Consulting department upon joining the MJ team. In her role, Kendall collaborates with the communication and engagement team to create custom client communication materials and graphics aimed at boosting employee participation, activation, and maximizing the use of their organization’s healthcare benefits.
Prior to MJ, Kendall spent time working in client service and managing corporate social media channels. Through this work, Kendall realized her passion for client experience and developing communications that generate engagement and drive results. Kendall’s ability to take a complex topic and make it easy to understand makes her an invaluable asset to both MJ and our clients.
Eric Garcia
Compensation + Total Rewards Specialist
Eric Garcia joined the MJ team as a compensation + total rewards specialist in our Benefits Consulting department. With his strong background in reporting and trend analysis, Eric ensures that our total rewards projects are delivered with excellence and that our clients receive exceptional customer service. Eric has been an integral part of our team, as his role encompasses preparing market benchmark analyses of compensation and rewards programs for a diverse set of clients.
Prior to MJ, Eric worked as a benefits analyst, where he analyzed financial and plan data to project costs for new benefits and policy changes. His passion for data and commitment to quality service make him a valuable asset to our team.
Maggie Gloyeske
Client Executive
Margaret “Maggie” Gloyeske joined the MJ team in 2017 as a client executive in our ever-expanding Benefits Consulting department. In her role, Maggie is responsible for the development and management of employee benefits strategies for large group clientele. She and her team work with clients to better understand their core goals and initiatives in order to effectively evaluate, analyze, plan, and manage their benefits strategy.
Maggie also provides strategic direction to our clients aiming to maximize employee benefits to support an organization by managing costs and risk, enhancing employee recruitment and retention, and improving communication of benefits to employees.
Danielle Goldberg
Population Health + Wellness Strategist
Danielle Goldberg assumed the role of population health + wellness strategist within our Benefits Consulting department upon joining the MJ team. Working with the rest of the population health + wellness team, Danielle partners with our clients to understand the unique health risks specific to their employees and organization. From there, Danielle and the team make tactical and strategic recommendations that seamlessly integrate with our clients’ employee benefits offerings.
Prior to MJ, Danielle gained extensive knowledge within the wellness space by working as a wellness coordinator. Through this experience, Danielle worked with employer groups to understand their current health strategy and potential risks. It was in this role that Danielle realized her passion for wellness and creating custom solutions to address each unique need head-on. Danielle’s drive and results-oriented attitude make her an invaluable asset to the MJ team.
Barry Goodrich
Market President – Arizona
Barry Goodrich joined the MJ team in 2007 as an employee benefits consultant in our Benefits Consulting department. Shortly thereafter, he became a principal and was later named market president – Arizona in 2022. In his role, Barry is responsible for providing strategic direction, leading sales and growth efforts in our Arizona office. Bryan Gross joined the MJ team as the director of compliance regulation and has since climbed the ranks to become the vice president of legal + compliance. Jehna Hall joined the MJ team as a client advocate in our Benefits Consulting department. With her exceptional skills and dedication, Jehna has since been promoted to client services coordinator, where she supports the day-to-day operations of our existing employee benefits clientele. In her role, Jehna’s responsibilities include working closely with the Benefits Consulting team to ensure smooth operations and maintain strong relationships with our valued clients. She assists our clients with claims and prior authorization advocacy, benefit inquiries, balance bill assistance and negotation, eligibility inquires, and member ID card replacement.

Andrew “Drew” Hannel joined the MJ team as an analytics intern. Through his commitment and growing expertise, he has since acquired a full-time position as an analyst within our Benefits Consulting department. Kyle previously served as a business development executive specializing in the large market segment of 300+ at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona. Andrea has 20 years of experience in employee benefits and human resources roles, including 19 years in benefits administration and management for several Colorado-based companies across a variety of industries. Prior to joining MJ, she served as a Benefits Lead for a large Colorado-based aerospace and technology company where she managed 401(k), pension, and health and welfare benefits programs. Andrea brings a wealth of knowledge to her current role and is passionate about cultivating meaningful partnerships with our clients.
Molly Lane

Molly Lane joined the MJ team in 2021 as an assistant account manager in our Benefits Consulting department. In 2022, she advanced to the role of account manager. At MJ, Alexa is responsible for supporting the internal communication of client tasks and deliverables at the direction of client executives. She is also crucial in aiding the Benefits Consulting department with projects that improve the client executive role.
Prior to MJ, Alexa gained valuable client service experience in her role as a manager of meetings for the National Precast Concrete Association. During that time, she planned, tracked, and executed approximately ten meetings per year, ranging in attendance from 20 to 4,500 attendees, with a focus on providing warm hospitality and exceptional member service to guests.

In his role, David focuses on new business development, particularly around MJ’s captive solutions and our capabilities for employers in the healthcare industry. As a native of Japan, Daniel has extensive bilingual and bicultural expertise spanning Asia and North America. Erin (Stines) Orr joined the MJ team as a client executive in the Benefits Consulting department. In her role, Erin leads the development and execution of clients’ benefits plan strategies in collaboration with MJ’s benefits consultants. Emily has a range of responsibilities, including reviewing plan design summaries, helping with renewal service contracts and execution, collaborating with account managers to implement carrier and vendor changes or add new lines of coverage, and preparing and distributing requests for proposals for all lines of group insurance coverage. Additionally, Emily is responsible for establishing and maintaining productive relationships with carriers, TPAs, and vendor personnel.
Joe Perkins
Employee Benefits Consultant
Joe Perkins joined the MJ team in 1984 as an employee benefits consultant in our Benefits Consulting department and quickly grew to become one of the agency’s top performers. Named a principal of the firm in 2003, Joe has continued to grow and cultivate his leadership skills and technical expertise, and he is now the lead production mentor for all incoming benefits consultants within the firm.
In addition to his mentoring responsibilities, Joe provides consultation to group clients on cost-saving benefit solutions. He has a broad range of specialties, including plan design analysis, on-site clinic development and implementation, self-funding, creative pharmaceutical solutions, and consumer-driven health plans. Leveraging his extensive experience, Joe and his team aim to ensure that clients’ employee benefits strategies are aligned with their business goals and objectives as they grow and evolve.
Bethany Peterson
SENIOR Vice President of employee benefits
Bethany Peterson assumed the role of senior vice president of employee benefits within our Benefits Consulting department. Renowned for her work modernizing operational capabilities to strategically align with business initiatives, Bethany serves as the national operational lead for our Benefits Consulting practice. In her role, Bethany takes a focused-approach to create aligned operational models across our offices, ultimately enhancing our associate and client experience. She is also an active member of MJ’s Senior Leadership Team, where she provides key industry trends and insights to inform organizational strategy.
With a robust background in developing world-class operations, processes, and system strategies, Bethany brings over 20 years of industry experience and joined MJ from one of the largest brokers in the world. Her ability to redefine processes and build consensus with key stakeholders propels us toward our goal of becoming the premier people development organization in the markets we serve. Bethany has a proven track record of bolstering engagement and streamlining efficiencies. This skillset paired with her strategic mindset make Bethany a valuable asset to the organization.
Sarah Petty
Client Executive
Sarah Petty joined the MJ team as a total rewards specialist and has since been promoted to client executive in our Employee Benefits department. In her role, Sarah uses her deep understanding of insurance products and policies to inform benefit strategies—her exceptional communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills support client satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
Prior to MJ, Sarah gained ample industry experience in benefits, payroll administration, and client relations. Her professional experience and motivation for cross-training enable her to work effectively with all levels of an organization, making her a valuable asset to the MJ team.
Ann Poland
Compliance Director
Ann Poland joined the MJ team in 2009 as the employee benefits department manager, bringing with her a vast knowledge of the industry. She was subsequently promoted to compliance director in our Benefits Consulting department. In her role, Ann is responsible for identifying, evaluating, reporting, reviewing, and communicating regulatory requirements to our employee benefits clientele. She consults with clients on health and welfare compliance issues regarding eligibility, plan administration, and other federal legislation. Ann performs in-depth legal research and analysis with the goal of helping clients choose the appropriate option to navigate increasingly complicated compliance requirements safely.
Prior to joining MJ, Ann worked as the director of legislative research and compliance with a national third-party administrator. With over 28 years in the insurance industry, Ann has held various roles, such as legal assistant, manager of annuity administration, and assistant vice president of agent licensing and commissions. Her expertise in employee benefits compliance and legislation has made her a true asset in the Benefits Consulting department and throughout the organization.
Molly Redman
Senior Analyst
Molly Redman joined the MJ team as an analytics intern in our Benefits Consulting department. Upon graduating from Arizona State University, she joined our team part-time as an associate analyst while she furthered her education and earned her master’s degree in applied health informatics. With her advanced qualifications, she quickly rose to the role of senior analyst, where she collaborates closely with our valued clients to understand their strategic goals and provide them with actionable insights from our proprietary analytics platform, APERTURE®.
During her time as an analytics intern at MJ, Molly spearheaded a project to organize client data, resulting in significant improvements in the efficiency of our analytics department. This invaluable experience, combined with her academic background, has shaped Molly into a proficient analyst with a profound understanding of uncovering claims data trends for diverse populations. Her data-driven mindset makes her an immense value add to our team.
Cheryl Reese
Pharmacy Operations Specialist
Cheryl Reese joined the MJ team as a pharmacy operations specialist within our Benefits Consulting department. With a keen eye for data analysis, Cheryl identifies trends that lead to cost-effective medication solutions while providing comprehensive support and education to our clients. Passionate about enhancing healthcare access, Cheryl collaborates effectively with various team members to ensure seamless integration of pharmacy services for our clients.
Prior to her current role, Cheryl obtained business and leadership experience from various companies, such as Delta Airlines, Multnomah University & Oklahoma Wesleyan University. Channeling that experience, she served as a member of the leadership team that started Cedarville University School of Pharmacy. This work led her to realizing her passion of pharmacy benefit consulting. Cheryl brings with her over a decade of experience in PBM consulting and analytics. Her institutional knowledge and client-centric approach make her a great fit for the MJ team and our clients.
Morgan Rice
Associate Client Executive, Small Business
Morgan Rice joined the MJ team as an assistant account manager in our Benefits Consulting department. She quickly advanced to the role of client advocacy team lead and has since been promoted to associate client executive servicing our small business clients. In this role, Morgan is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day needs of MJ’s employee benefits new and existing clientele while providing extraordinary service. Morgan works with the wellness, compliance, communication, and client advocacy teams to execute client healthcare and benefits strategies.
Prior to joining MJ, Morgan worked as a sales representative, where she focused on relationship management, product distribution and placement, cross-merchandising, and incremental sales growth. She loves that her role allows her to continue to create meaningful relationships with clients and carriers. Morgan’s attention to detail and commitment to client experience make her a strong asset for both the MJ team and our clients.
Sami Schnepp
Client Executive
Samantha “Sami” Schnepp joined the MJ team as an account manager in the Benefits Consulting department. Sami has quickly worked her way up the ladder and now serves our clients as a client executive. In this role, Sami works to provide comprehensive benefits, health and wellness, and compliance services to clients. Along with servicing the daily needs of our clientele, Sami serves as the internal conduit or “quarterback” between analytics, wellness, communication, and compliance to ensure all teams
within the Benefits Consulting department work seamlessly to execute personalized client strategies.
Prior to MJ, Sami was the director of launch for Remodel Health. In this role, she assisted HR directors and CFOs, guiding them through the onboarding process for individual benefits and software platforms related to benefits. Sami’s commitment to delivering exceptional customer support and guidance is one of the many reasons why she is a valuable asset to the MJ team.
Danny Scott
Account Manager
Danny Scott joined the MJ team as a client advocate in the Benefits Consulting department and has since been promoted to the role of an account manager. In his role, Danny works closely with the account services team and client executives to ensure the accuracy of policy details for client benefit plans. He is responsible for preparing custom client materials, cost analysis and summaries, and managing the marketing and renewal process for new and existing clientele. Danny’s dedication and attention to detail contribute to the seamless execution of our client’s benefit plans.
Danny’s passion for customer service began during his earlier tenure as a pipeline manager. In this role, he assisted his team as they worked to achieve quarterly goals. Kasen Seeley
Manager, Analytics
Kasen Seeley joined the MJ Insurance team in 2011 as a health risk management analyst in our Benefits Consulting department and later transitioned to the role of senior analyst. In recognition of her dedication and expertise, Kasen has since been promoted to manager, analytics, a role where she thrives today. In this role, Kasen uses data to assist MJ’s clientele in making forward-thinking decisions related to their employee benefits strategies. Providing insightful analysis, she and her team uncover cost drivers and underlying utilization trends impacting clients’ health plans as well as forecast future risk to help identify opportunities for savings.
Prior to MJ, Kasen began her insurance career as an analyst at Emerging Benefit Consultants where she analyzed reports for plan improvements and opportunities to decrease employer costs. Through her experience, Kasen has diverse expertise within the healthcare marketplace.
Monica Shelton
Senior Account Manager, Training Lead
Monica Shelton joined the MJ team in 1998 as a marketing coordinator in our Benefits Consulting department. With nearly 30 years of industry experience, she quickly moved up to senior account manager and has since been promoted to a training lead position. In her current capacity, Monica manages the day-to-day requirements of MJ’s expanding employee benefits clientele, delivering exceptional service. She oversees the marketing and renewal processes for both new and existing clients, providing analysis and reporting in collaboration with our analytics team.
Prior to MJ, Monica held a position as an administrative assistant at Golden Rule Insurance. Leveraging her extensive industry background, Monica applies her expertise in client reporting, communication, and marketing to her current role at MJ. Through her comprehensive approach to evaluating, analyzing, planning, and managing employee benefits programs and strategies for her clients, Monica has become an invaluable member of the MJ team.
Byron Shultz
Vice President of Sales + Strategy, Benefits Consulting – Arizona
Byron Shultz joined the MJ team in 2011 as an employee benefits and risk management consultant. He quickly established himself as one of the agency’s top performers and was subsequently promoted to vice president of sales + strategy for the benefits consulting team in Arizona. In addition, he has been appointed as a principal of the firm. From risk management to employee benefits, Byron and his team work collaboratively to develop innovative strategies and create customized solutions tailored to client’s specific needs.
Byron’s strong finance background has enabled him to align key financial business metrics with a company’s risk management and employee benefit programs. He firmly believes in the power of data to drive strategy and identify the most effective and efficient ways to transfer, mitigate, and prevent risk for his clients. Cheri Slider

Cheri Slider joined the MJ team in 2021 as an account manager in our Benefits Consulting department. Cheri has since been promoted to senior account manager. In her role, Cheri utilizes her background in client relations and marketing to help clients navigate their benefits needs with customized solutions. She is responsible for leading the renewal and marketing process and works alongside MJ’s consultants to provide comprehensive recommendations for clients.
Cheri brings three decades of experience in client relations and customer service, including 27 years of employee benefits experience. Cheri’s expertise enables her to cultivate new and strengthen current client relationships, making her an invaluable asset to the MJ team.
Kevin Sliwa
Senior Vice President, Sales + Strategy – Indiana
Kevin Sliwa began his insurance career when he joined the MJ team in 2004 as an employee benefits consultant. He quickly grew to become one of the agency’s top performers, becoming a partner at age 30 and one of the youngest principals in firm history. He now serves as senior vice president of sales & strategy for our Indiana Benefits Consulting department, where he oversees the day-to-day operations for both sales and service. He is also an active member of MJ’s Senior Leadership Team, where he provides key industry trends and insights to inform organizational strategy.
Kevin excels in optimizing employee benefits to align with an organization’s strategic goals. His expertise spans various crucial aspects, including cost management, risk mitigation, boosting employee recruitment, enhancing retention and satisfaction, and refining how employees perceive and engage with their benefits. Kevin has extensive experience in the development and implementation of employer-sponsored onsite clinics and progressive wellness programs, as well as plan design analysis, creative pharmaceutical solutions and consumer-driven health plans. He and his team help to identify underlying cost drivers and work to develop effective solutions customized to fit their needs.
Dale Stamper

Rebecca Sterchi

Rebecca Sterchi joined the MJ team in 2018 as an employee benefits consultant within our Benefits Consulting department. An industry veteran, Rebecca brings over two decades of industry experience and a wealth of knowledge in the human resources, employee benefits and healthcare fields.
With previous experience working in HR Consulting and for one of the nation’s largest health insurers, Rebecca brings a unique perspective to the team. At MJ, Rebecca develops customized benefits programming for her clients that minimize exposures, manage risks, and helps to recruit and retain their unique workforce. Her expertise lies in employee benefits strategy, plan design, and consulting group clients on cost containment initiatives. As a consultative advisor, Rebecca enjoys working with HR leadership and corporate officers to both understand and align their overall business goals and objectives to their employee benefit programs.

Saori “Sally” Sutterfield joined the MJ team as a customer service manager within our Benefits Consulting department’s Japanese Business Practice. In her role, Sally serves as a personal healthcare counselor, helping to unravel the intricacies of the American healthcare system for our Japanese clientele. Shannon Tausch serves as an associate client executive in the Benefits Consulting department. Emma Tawney joined the MJ team as a client advocate in our Benefits Consulting department. In her role, Emma ensures smooth day-to-day operations of our existing employee benefits clientele. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for supporting clients, Emma’s responsibilities also include working alongside her team to review policy details and ensure accuracy of open enrollment information for clients.
Prior to MJ, Emma studied at the University of Arizona, where she earned her degree in information sciences along with a minor in marketing. Erich Veigel
Director, Client Experience
Erich Veigel joined the MJ team as an employee benefits consultant in our Benefits Consulting department. Erich has since transitioned into the role of client executive and has added the designation of director of client experience to his repertoire. Erich’s experience has made him an expert in wellness, benefits technology, plan design analysis, network analysis, Rx program analysis, as well as strategic planning and execution.
In his role, Erich leads a group of client executives while being responsible for ensuring the delivery of our value proposition and exceptional client experience. He also develops and executes employee benefits strategies for large group clientele.
Andy Vetor

Andrew “Andy” Vetor began his insurance career in 2002 as an employee benefits consultant at MJ and quickly grew to become one of the agency’s top performers. His track record for growth and leadership has continued to develop throughout his career, as he became one of the youngest partners in company history. In 2022, Andy advanced to the role of president – benefits consulting, chief growth officer, solidifying his status as a key figure within MJ’s leadership as a member of the Executive Leadership Team.
At the helm of MJ’s Benefits Consulting department, Andy oversees the strategic evolution of MJ’s Employee Benefits, Retirement and Total Rewards practice groups. He also leads the efforts behind growth and sales across the enterprise, playing an integral role in MJ’s expanding national footprint. In a landscape that’s ever-changing, Andy’s passion for innovation and client excellence and deep understanding of market dynamics have helped propel MJ forward, fortifying its position as a leading player in the employee benefits and risk management space.
Elizabeth Vos
Communication Specialist
Elizabeth serves as a communication specialist within our Benefits Consulting department. In this capacity, she plays a crucial role in tailoring client communication projects to align seamlessly with their communication strategies. With a unique ability to customize projects effectively, Elizabeth has become a great asset, significantly enhancing the quality of our client interactions.
Prior to MJ, Elizabeth worked as a press secretary and digital communications specialist for the Indiana State Senate, where she led digital communications for the Senate Majority Caucus, including video production, photography, graphic design, and layout design. She also wrote columns, press releases, and e-newsletters and liaised with the media on behalf of various state senators.
Chrissy Warr

Christian “Chrissy” Warr joined the MJ team as a client advocate in our Benefits Consulting department. Chrissy was quickly promoted to account manager, where she works in collaboration with client executives to ensure the day-to-day execution of our client’s benefit strategies. From assisting with the renewal and marketing process to analyzing and reviewing proposals, Chrissy works to ensure we deliver a seamless client experience.

Jamie Westbury joined the MJ team as a client executive in our Benefits Consulting department. In her role, Jamie collaborates with our MJ consultants and client service teams to support the management and execution of client benefit strategies.
Bringing nearly 15 years of extensive project management and client service experience, Jamie is a seasoned professional with over a decade dedicated to the employee benefits industry. In her most recent role, Jamie managed client relationships for one of MJ’s valued national medical vendor partners. Alexa Williams

Alexa Williams joined the MJ team as an account manager in our Benefits Consulting department. In her role, Alexa is responsible for helping MJ’s clientele navigate their benefit needs with short- and long-term solutions. Alexa’s passion for teamwork shines as she works closely with various teams to review plan design summaries, collaborates with consultants on renewal services and contracts and maintains productive relationships with vendor and TPA personnel.
Prior to MJ, Alexa worked as a client manager for a leading financial services organization. In this position, Alexa coordinated and led client meetings with internal teams and carrier partners regarding open enrollment strategy, implementation projects and Subject Matter Expert (SME) engagement. Her ability to create and implement solutions tailored to clients is what makes Alexa a wonderful addition to the MJ team.
Celeste Zarate
Associate Account Manager
Celeste Zarate joined the MJ team as a client advocate in our Benefits Consulting department and has since transitioned to an associate account manager. In this role, she works in collaboration with account managers and client executives to ensure the day-to-day execution of our client’s benefit strategies. Celeste plays an integral part in plan design and maintenance, working with client executives, vendors, and partners to facilitate change, renewals, and additional lines of coverage. Dan Zentgraf

Dan Zentgraf joined the MJ team in 2018 as our director of analytics. Since then, he has quickly been promoted to vice president of analytics in our Benefits Consulting department. In his role, Dan is responsible for delivering in-depth analysis and data-driven insights that empower our clients to make informed decisions. He and his team analyze client data to identify primary cost drivers and risk trends and evaluate contribution strategies to ensure they provide the insights needed to advance decision-making in the client’s healthcare strategy.
Prior to MJ, Dan spent the first ten years of his career on the carrier side in medical, pharmacy, and dental underwriting. Since then, he has worked as an employee benefits consultant, utilizing his underwriting knowledge to assist clients in analyzing their plan costs and in designing future benefits strategies. With over two decades of insurance experience and a data-driven mindset, Dan elevates the client experience by turning data into actionable insights using our proprietary analytics platform, APERTURE®. His immense amount of knowledge and stratgeic mindset make him invaluable to our organization.
