Derek Ackerman joined the MJ team as an employee benefits consultant in our Benefits Consulting department. With over a decade of experience in the industry, Derek is well-equipped to provide clients with exceptional service and value. He works closely with them to develop and implement healthcare and benefit strategies that align with their unique company goals. Derek specializes in self-funding, wellness programs, predictive modeling, benchmarking, and marketing/placement.

Prior to MJ, Derek worked for a global risk management advisory, broking, and solutions company. In his role as senior growth consultant, he oversaw the development of new business and ongoing client service, utilizing solutions designed to help clients in the ever-changing world of benefits.

Along with servicing the daily needs of our clientele, she strives to provide an extraordinary client experience while managing the marketing and renewal process for new and existing accounts.

Before joining MJ, Morgan worked as a leadership consultant for Kappa Kappa Gamma, where she served as a traveling consultant specializing in the leadership development of collegiate women. She also supported the development and continuation of chapters across the nation. Leveraging the skills she gained, Morgan has a unique ability to see the big picture, enabling her to develop strategic approaches for our clients that help them realize their goals.

In her role, Jamie is responsible for the strategic development and supervision of the client experience. Jamie is also a certified Group Benefits Disability Specialist (GBDS) and acts as the technical specialist for life and disability benefits for the Arizona team.
