Director of Analytics

Paige Beilby joined the MJ team as our director of analytics in our Benefits Consulting department. In her role, Paige further bolsters MJ’s ability to forecast program costs for clients and develop strategic recommendations that align seamlessly with each clients’ individualized benefit strategy. Her passion for curating and deploying data models to help clients predict future trends and outcomes seamlessly aligns with MJ’s customized data-driven approach.

With over a decade of actuarial and analytical consulting experience in the Denver region, Paige brings a versatile set of skills and a strong understanding of the Colorado market. Leaning on her expertise, Paige and her team work diligently to create predictive models for claims, customer behavior and financial performance for MJ clientele.

Branden Bushelle

Manager of Data and Automation

Branden Bushelle joined the MJ team as a database analyst in the Benefits Consulting department and has since been promoted to manager of data and automation. In his role, Branden manages all database processing functions, including merging, purging, and cleaning data. Branden also plays a critical role in developing and implementing databases and providing analytics to optimize efficiency and quality for MJ’s clientele.

Prior to MJ, Branden’s previous experiences included engineering, with an interest in data integration, making him an excellent fit for this position. Branden brings with him a robust ability to use his innovative mindset to problem-solve and develop solutions that enable MJ to be the tech-enabled, data-driven organization that it is today.

Alex Dantin

Data Architect

Alex Dantin joined the MJ team in 2017 as a data architect and has been integral in the development of our data analytics system and capabilities. In his capacity, Alex shoulders the responsibility of conceptualizing and executing a comprehensive data warehousing system and a forward-looking data strategy, encompassing processes, governance, and in-depth analysis. His collaborative efforts extend to closely working with numerous teams, aiding in the proficient development and evaluation of reports. These reports serve as a wellspring of both tactical and strategic recommendations tailored to the needs of MJ’s clientele.

Prior to joining MJ, Alex worked as a business intelligence technologist at Allegion, where he was responsible for information analysis and reporting between business units and IT resources. Through his dedication to data analysis, Alex forecasts future trends, allowing MJ’s clients to implement the appropriate mitigation strategy in alignment with their needs.

Brian Gratigny

Senior Vice President of Analytics

Brian Gratigny joined the MJ team in 2014 as director of health risk management and has since been promoted to senior vice president of analytics, where he oversees the Analytics practice in our Benefits Consulting department. In his role, Brian leads a team of expert analysts responsible for delivering in-depth analysis and data-driven insights that empower MJ clients to make informed decisions. As a vital member of MJ’s Senior Leadership Team, Brian provides a critical and unique perspective to influence enterprise-wide data strategies.

Prior to joining MJ, Brian worked as director of business analytics for UnitedHealthcare. With nearly two decades of industry experience, Brian and his team work to provide data-driven insights and recommendations to clients while addressing key business goals and initiatives. The need for data and business analytics is continually growing, which pushes Brian and his team to continue to innovate MJ’s proprietary analytics platform, APERTURE®. Brian’s strategic marketing, research, and analytical knowledge have made him an invaluable member of our organization.

Drew Hannel

Analyst

Andrew “Drew” Hannel joined the MJ team as an analytics intern. Through his commitment and growing expertise, he has since acquired a full-time position as an analyst within our Benefits Consulting department. In his role, Drew plays a pivotal role in MJ’s purpose to provide exceptional service to our clients by understanding their benefits strategies and offering solutions based on data trends and insights through MJ’s proprietary analytics platform, APERTURE®.

Prior to his role, Drew’s passion for analytics was nurtured during his academic journey at Indiana University’s Kelly School of Business where he has pursued a master’s degree in finance. Through his internship experience, Drew has been able to further hone his spreadsheet design skills, risk management and corporate strategy knowledge, option pricing variations and more. Drew’s curiosity and determination to develop his knowledge and skillset have made him an invaluable addition to our analytics team.

Database Analyst

Myles Lyngh joined the MJ team as a database specialist in our Benefits Consulting department. In his role, Myles is responsible for developing queries that convert internal and external data into usable datasets. Additionally, he is tasked with improving the efficiency and quality of data systems by devising innovative methods to obtain and analyze data.

Prior to joining MJ, Myles gained experience working with databases and adapting his skills to various programming languages. He effectively leverages his expertise to create programming efficiencies in our propriety analytics platform, APERTURE®, thereby facilitating easy and quick access to clean and comprehensive information for MJ and our clients.

Irelin Perske

Analyst

Irelin joined the MJ team as an analyst in our Benefits Consulting department. In her role, Irelin is responsible for partnering with clients to analyze and understand their healthcare strategy and deliver critical insights concerning their employee benefits strategies.

Prior to MJ, Irelin worked as a property claims adjuster for a large financial services firm. In this role, she handled moderate to complex property claims and helped clients achieve financial stability by writing estimates through xactimate and xactanalysis. Irelin’s experience in critical thinking and financial decision-making allows her to thrive on our team at MJ.

Kasen Seeley

Manager, Analytics

Kasen Seeley joined the MJ Insurance team in 2011 as a health risk management analyst in our Benefits Consulting department and later transitioned to the role of senior analyst. In recognition of her dedication and expertise, Kasen has since been promoted to manager, analytics, a role where she thrives today. In this role, Kasen uses data to assist MJ’s clientele in making forward-thinking decisions related to their employee benefits strategies. Providing insightful analysis, she and her team uncover cost drivers and underlying utilization trends impacting clients’ health plans as well as forecast future risk to help identify opportunities for savings.

Prior to MJ, Kasen began her insurance career as an analyst at Emerging Benefit Consultants where she analyzed reports for plan improvements and opportunities to decrease employer costs. Through her experience, Kasen has diverse expertise within the healthcare marketplace.

Dan Zentgraf

Vice President of Analytics

Dan Zentgraf joined the MJ team in 2018 as our director of analytics. Since then, he has quickly been promoted to vice president of analytics in our Benefits Consulting department. In his role, Dan is responsible for delivering in-depth analysis and data-driven insights that empower our clients to make informed decisions. He and his team analyze client data to identify primary cost drivers and risk trends and evaluate contribution strategies to ensure they provide the insights needed to advance decision-making in the client’s healthcare strategy.

Prior to MJ, Dan spent the first ten years of his career on the carrier side in medical, pharmacy, and dental underwriting. Since then, he has worked as an employee benefits consultant, utilizing his underwriting knowledge to assist clients in analyzing their plan costs and in designing future benefits strategies. With over two decades of insurance experience and a data-driven mindset, Dan elevates the client experience by turning data into actionable insights using our proprietary analytics platform, APERTURE®. His immense amount of knowledge and stratgeic mindset make him invaluable to our organization.
