Rebecca “Becca” McColm joined MJ as an associate director of benefits compliance in our Benefits Consulting department. Becca brings a rare legal lens to employee benefits consulting as an attorney, navigating compliance issues that sit at the intersection of law and benefits strategy. In her role, she works to ensure benefit programs are not only effective, but also sound
from a regulatory standpoint.
Prior to MJ, Becca spent several years representing multiemployer benefit plans, working on a variety of labor-employment issues with a focus on health and welfare funds. Before that, she practiced at multiple law firms in areas such as landlord-tenant, family law, and domestic violence. Her experience sharpened her ability to advocate in high-stakes, fast-paced environments. It’s that combination of technical depth and genuine advocacy that makes her a standout addition to the MJ team.
