Jen Friesen joined the MJ team as vice president, client experience, in our Risk Management + Commercial Insurance department. In her role, she serves as a senior advisor to clients while partnering closely with leaders across the organization to shape strategy, strengthen culture, and develop talent. Jen provides coaching, mentorship, and strategic oversight to support exceptional client experiences and help ensure clients receive thoughtful, high-value guidance tailored to their evolving needs.
Jen brings more than two decades of industry experience to the role. She spent several years as a vice president at a national insurance brokerage, where she led service and marketing for a complex portfolio of clients after previously leading a regional property and casualty team. Earlier in her career, she worked as a commercial lines broker managing non-admitted business and as an account executive servicing and marketing a property and casualty client portfolio. Her diverse background spanning client service, brokerage, team leadership, and business strategy provides a well-rounded perspective that helps clients navigate complex risk management challenges with confidence.
