INDIANAPOLIS – The MJ Companies, a leading business and financial services consulting firm for more than 60 years, announces the addition of an accomplished benefits compliance professional to its team. Rebecca McColm is joining as Associate Director of Benefits Compliance, based in the firm’s Indiana office. She will provide compliance support to MJ clients across the country. This strategic hire reinforces The MJ Companies’ continued investment in delivering industry-leading compliance guidance and support to clients from coast to coast, navigating an increasingly complex employee benefits landscape. 

In her role, McColm will support clients and internal teams through compliance analysis, regulatory guidance, and strategic consulting. Her background in employee benefits compliance and commitment to client service will further strengthen the firm’s ability to help organizations confidently manage regulatory challenges.

Before joining The MJ Companies, McColm developed deep expertise in employee benefits compliance, helping employers navigate changing regulations, plan administration requirements, and evolving workforce needs. Most recently, McColm was an Associate Attorney at Ledbetter Partners, LLC, where she served in one of the nation’s largest Taft-Hartley benefits practices, representing more than 100 multiemployer plans and advising on health and welfare compliance, fiduciary responsibilities, regulatory requirements, and complex transactional and litigation matters. Her collaborative approach and commitment to delivering practical compliance solutions have made her a valued resource for clients and colleagues alike.
