DENVER — [February 10, 2025] — The MJ Companies, a leading risk management and employee benefits consulting firm, is pleased to announce the appointment of Dylan Cozad as director of analytics in the risk management and commercial insurance department.  

Cozad will be based in Denver where he will lead the risk management and commercial insurance data analytics practice nationally. Cozad and his team will advance The MJ Companies’ data-driven approach, utilizing sophisticated analytics to reduce clients’ total cost of risk. Cozad will play a pivotal role in expanding MJ’s property and casualty capabilities in Colorado and across the country.  

With nearly a decade of experience in the risk management and insurance industry, Cozad brings a wealth of knowledge in both predictive and prescriptive analytics. In his new role, he will lead The MJ Companies’ efforts to expand its data analytics deliverable and enhance its client-facing informed decision-making tools, leveraging MJ’s proprietary analytics platform, APERTURE®.  

The MJ Companies’ risk management and commercial insurance team is focused on bringing a new level of data intelligence to clients, ensuring they have the necessary insights to make strategic decisions that optimize their risk profile.
