Will Christiansen joined the MJ team as a risk management associate in our Risk Management + Commercial Insurance department. In his role, Will participates in rotational training across the business units departments, building foundational expertise in risk transfer, policy administration, and the full client journey. From supporting the renewal cycle to working
through policy lifecycle tasks—audits, endorsements, certificates, and more—Will has developed hands-on skills that translate directly into exceptional service for clients.
Will brings real-world exposure to the industry. Before stepping into his full-time role, he interned in a commercial insurance setting as well as in financial advisory services. His internship with the Risk Management + Commercial Insurance team gave him a firsthand look at MJ’s collaborative culture, the people, and the commitment to clients which are all factors that ultimately drew him back to join the team full-time. That foundation, combined with his dual academic background in finance and risk management, have positioned him to grow quickly and contribute meaningfully from day one.
