INDIANAPOLIS (Sept. 30, 2025) – The MJ Companies, a leading financial services firm for nearly 60 years, is proud to announce the addition of Melinda Eckard as Vice President of Employee Benefits Operations and Client Experience.  In this role, Eckard will lead the strategic direction of employee benefit operations, enhance client experience and increase growth.

As Vice President of Employee Benefits Operations, Eckard will align operational strategy with compliance demands to ensure client service is at an optimal level. Her focus will begin with translating overall business goals into actionable strategies that are effective in managing the ever-changing insurance landscape.

While Eckard will reside in the Phoenix market, she will lead employee benefits operations on a national level.

Eckard has nearly two decades of expertise in insurance, risk management, and employee benefits, having held various roles with Willis Towers Watson (WTW), one of the largest international commercial insurance brokers in the world, where she led initiatives to enhance compliance and quality processes as well as ensure the proper implementation of technology tools. In addition, she holds a Life and Health Producer/Agent license in the state of Arizona.
