DENVER (April 14, 2026) – The MJ Companies, a leading financial services firm serving clients for more than 60 years, has announced its partnership with the City of Boulder, launching a strategic partnership centered on long-term sustainability, equitable access to care and a modern, data-driven benefits experience for the city’s workforce and retirees.  

Starting this month, The MJ Companies will work alongside city leadership to support approximately 2,000 benefits-eligible employees through comprehensive consulting and brokerage services — advancing the city’s vision of “service excellence for an inspired future.” The collaboration reflects shared values around customer service, respect, integrity, collaboration and innovation.

The City of Boulder selected The MJ Companies following a competitive evaluation process, citing strong cultural alignment and a Colorado-based service team. The city also highlighted The MJ Companies’ financial and data analytics capabilities, depth of employee communication expertise and deep understanding of the Front Range health care landscape – backed by strong references from other Colorado counties already partnering with The MJ Companies.
