Kayla Berg

Communication Specialist + Graphic Design Lead

Kayla Berg joined the MJ team as a graphic design specialist and has since been promoted to communication specialist and graphic design lead in our Benefits Consulting department. In her role, Kayla works with the benefits consulting team to design and develop various client communication materials, imagery, and graphics to increase employee enrollment, activation, and optimal utilization of healthcare benefits. She is also responsible for the conception, development, and creation of client-specific health and wellness brands in partnership with MJ’s population health + wellness team.

Kayla brings with her numerous years of experience supporting client design projects, and her passion for graphic design is evident in her stellar work. She enjoys the creative aspect of graphic design and pushing boundaries to create powerful messages. Kayla always brings innovative design concepts to the table, making her an invaluable asset to MJ.

Monica Ceja

Communication Consultant, Training Lead

Monica Ceja joined the MJ team as a communication consultant within our Benefits Consulting department and was quickly promoted to the role of communications consultant, training lead. In her role at MJ, Monica works collaboratively with our clients to develop and execute custom communication strategies around their employee benefit plans. Monica is responsible for working cross-functionally with other team members to develop multi-channel communications that drive action, awareness, and engagement in our client’s benefits programs. Additionally, she leads training and development across Benefits+ around communication and engagement strategies and platforms.

Before joining MJ, Monica spent more than a decade leading communication efforts and brand strategy for large, national nonprofit organizations, including time at Indiana University. She thoroughly enjoys developing campaigns and year round communications from discovery through execution and assessment. Monica guides content strategy and creates on-brand deliverables that are consistent, engaging, easy to understand, and align with our clients’ strategic objectives making her an invaluable asset to the MJ team

Cori Church

Communication Specialist

Cori Church joined the MJ team as a communication specialist within the Benefits Consulting department. In her role, Cori serves as a communication lead for assigned clients, building relationships rooted in trust while developing the kind of clear, compelling content that helps employees actually understand and engage with their benefits. From campaign planning and copywriting to design coordination and project management, Cori brings a full-service approach to every client she supports. Her eye for translating complex information into visuals that connect is what sets her work apart.


Before joining MJ, Cori built a well-rounded foundation across digital marketing and client services, working with teams in commercial real estate and property management. In those roles, she sharpened her instincts for managing client relationships, producing client-facing marketing materials, and keeping projects moving across competing priorities. That combination of creative output and service-oriented follow-through is exactly what she brings to MJ clients every day.

Kendall Furlong

Communications Coordinator

Kendall Furlong assumed the role of communications coordinator within our Benefits Consulting department upon joining the MJ team. In her role, Kendall collaborates with the communication and engagement team to create custom client communication materials and graphics aimed at boosting employee participation, activation, and maximizing the use of their organization’s healthcare benefits.


Prior to MJ, Kendall spent time working in client service and managing corporate social media channels. Through this work, Kendall realized her passion for client experience and developing communications that generate engagement and drive results. Kendall’s ability to take a complex topic and make it easy to understand makes her an invaluable asset to both MJ and our clients.

Lindsay Horning

Communication + Engagement Program Lead

Lindsay Horning joined the MJ team as a communication specialist and was quickly promoted to communication and engagement program lead in our Benefits Consulting department. In her role, Lindsay works with the team to develop various client communication materials to increase employee enrollment, activation, and optimal utilization of healthcare benefits. She is also responsible for working collaboratively across teams to ensure client communication plans align with their unique business objectives.

Prior to MJ, Lindsay was responsible for managing a team of consultants to provide a high quality level of service, while providing strategic consulting to ensure clients reach their business goals in the corporate benefit and wellness space. Throughout her role, she connected clients with subject matter experts, ensuring that they had access to best-in-class consulting.

Director, Benefits Communication + Engagement

Matt Hornyak joined MJ as the director of benefits communications + engagement within our Benefits Consulting department. In this role, he leads the Communications + Engagement team, ensuring our deliverables are high‑quality, consistent, and creatively executed across all channels.

Matt oversees the strategy, development, and implementation of employee benefits communications that build understanding, engagement, and utilization across client organizations. He specializes in translating complex healthcare and benefits information into clear, accessible content, partnering closely with clients and internal teams to create customized communication strategies aligned with plan changes, compliance needs, and organizational goals.

Prior to joining MJ, Matt spent more than a decade leading communications and managing accounts across multiple teams and brands. His experience directing communications for six distinct brands simultaneously, combined with his strong operational and creative leadership, enables him to deliver tailored, impactful communication strategies for the diverse organizations MJ serves.

Elizabeth Vos

Content Manager

Elizabeth joined the MJ team as a communication specialist within our Benefits Consulting department. Her passion for content creation, communication strategy, and cross-functional collaboration quickly led to her promotion to content manager. In this role, she plays a pivotal part in developing and managing employee benefits content that aligns with our clients’ communication strategies. Elizabeth excels at tailoring content to meet specific client needs, ensuring clear and engaging messaging that enhances employee understanding and engagement. Her expertise has made her a valuable asset, significantly improving the effectiveness of our client communications.

Prior to MJ, Elizabeth worked as a press secretary and digital communications specialist for the Indiana State Senate, where she led digital communications for the Senate Majority Caucus, including video production, photography, graphic design, and layout design. She also wrote columns, press releases, and e-newsletters and liaised with the media on behalf of various state senators.

Taylor Weitzer

Communication Specialist

Taylor Weitzer joined the MJ team as a communication specialist on our Communication + Engagement team within the Benefits Consulting department. In her role, Taylor partners with clients to turn complex benefits information into print and digital communications that are clear, engaging, and easy to act on. She leads copywriting, design coordination, and project management, particularly through the high-stakes open enrollment season. Taylor’s work helps employers spark stronger employee engagement with their benefits programs and drive measurable improvements in health, wellness, and overall benefits utilization.

Prior to MJ, Taylor spent nearly a decade building her communications expertise across nonprofit and sports organizations. She served as marketing and brand director for a national fraternal organization, where she led content strategy, managed a team of marketing professionals, and served as editor-in-chief of the group’s quarterly magazine. Earlier in her career, she handled marketing and digital media for a regional tennis governing body, producing digital campaigns and video stories at events ranging from local tournaments to the professional circuit. That blend of editorial discipline and visual storytelling shapes how Taylor approaches client communications at MJ, creating work that lands on time, reads cleanly, and moves people to act.
