Ian Haas joined the MJ team as a senior data engineer in our Enterprise Data department and now serves as data engineering manager. Ian plays a key role in leading the development of innovative solutions that help navigate complex and evolving data, turning ambiguity into clear, actionable insights. He oversees the design and implementation of data transformation workflows that ensure consistency and accuracy in reporting, improve documentation of data models, and support scalable, data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Prior to joining MJ, Ian gained experience as an application developer in the public sector, specializing in retirement systems. In this role, he built dashboards to evaluate logged system integrations, wrote custom scripts to support data acquisition efforts, and provided technical guidance to his team. Today, Ian leverages his expertise to lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable data pipelines and integrations within MJ’s proprietary analytics platform, APERTURE®, helping provide secure access to accurate, comprehensive information for MJ and our clients.
