Aaron Shields joined the MJ team in 2011 as a risk management consultant within our Risk Management + Commercial Insurance department. With over a decade of hands-on experience spanning diverse sectors such as manufacturing, recycling, food, and hospitality, Aaron has seamlessly evolved into his current role as a client executive. In his role, Aaron plays a pivotal role as the internal conduit between the analytics, risk services, risk transfer and client advocacy teams. His mission is to guarantee the seamless execution of client strategy and customer service.
Prior to MJ, Aaron honed his skills at organizations such as Liberty Mutual and Arthur J. Gallagher. His in-depth knowledge of the underwriting, claims, and loss control processes, along with his experience in risk management strategy, plan design, analytics and risk transfer analysis, uniquely positions him to expertly align his clients’ overall business goals to their risk management programs and strategies. Aaron and his team help clients focus beyond insurance to become more productive risk management organizations, all while aiming to reduce their total costs of risk.
