DeAnn Deck joined the MJ team as the director of benefits compliance in our Benefits Consulting department. DeAnn brings over 35 years of experience and industry knowledge to the team. In her role, she identifies, evaluates, reports, reviews, and communicates regulatory requirements to our employee benefits clientele. DeAnn performs in-depth legal research and analysis with the goal of helping our clients navigate the increasingly complex realm of compliance. She also consults with our clients on health and welfare compliance issues regarding eligibility, plan administration, and other federal legislation.
Prior to MJ and throughout her career, DeAnn has held various client-facing roles. Using her prior experience as an account manager, DeAnn understands our client’s day-to-day needs and is able to deliver compliance information to them in a timely, actionable way. Her vast knowledge and expertise in employee benefits compliance and legislation have made her a true asset to our team.
