Brian Friend serves as Executive Advisor and is a member of The MJ Companies’ Executive Leadership Team. With more than three decades of experience in financial leadership, he has played a pivotal role in shaping the firm’s growth, financial discipline, and long-term strategy. Over the course of his tenure with the firm, Brian served for 25 years as Chief Financial Officer, where he was instrumental in guiding the organization through key phases of our growth. His deep understanding of the business, combined with a steady and strategic approach to financial management, has helped strengthen MJ’s foundation and support its evolution.
In his current role as Executive Advisor – Special Projects, Brian partners closely with members of the Executive Leadership Team to provide strategic counsel and support high-impact initiatives across the organization. He brings a financial perspective, institutional knowledge, and seasoned judgment to complex business decisions, helping ensure alignment with MJ’s long-term objectives. His continued presence on the Executive Leadership Team provides continuity, insight, and trusted leadership as the firm looks ahead.
