Maya Murthy joined the MJ team as an information security analyst within the Information Technology (IT) department. In her role, Maya contributes to MJ’s information security program by supporting the governance, risk, and compliance efforts that keep the firm’s data, systems, and operations protected. She works alongside MJ’s security team to help ensure that the controls, policies, and frameworks in place reflect both current regulatory expectations and an ever-evolving threat landscape.

Maya brings a strong academic foundation in cybersecurity and global policy to her work at MJ. As an Orr Fellow, she connected deeply with the MJ team during the fellowship process. Her interdisciplinary background, spanning the technical and policy dimensions of information security, make her an asset to MJ.
