As we mark our third anniversary of MJ’s presence in Colorado, we are filled with immense gratitude for the milestones we’ve achieved, the relationships we’ve built and the growth we’ve experienced along the way.
When we first arrived in Colorado, our core team consisted of just two people. Today, we’re proud to say that our team has grown to 13 members. Over the past three years, we’ve also had the pleasure of welcoming over 20 new clients to our office, and we couldn’t be more excited about the incredible partners we’ve had the privilege of working with. As icing on the cake, we also opened our brand-new office space this past February!
This year, we are kicking off our anniversary celebrations with an accomplishment that is especially meaningful to us: being named one of Denver Business Journal’s Best Places to Work. What makes this award even more special is that we’ve earned this recognition across all three of our markets across the country!
Anyone who manages offices in multiple locations knows the challenges of maintaining a strong, cohesive culture across various regions. It takes constant effort, but we’ve made it a top priority. In today’s job market, it’s crucial to stay competitive — especially considering U.S. employee engagement has hit an 11-year low in 2024. A staggering 88% of employees globally would consider leaving their job if their employer didn’t prioritize their wellbeing.
No matter how much our team grows, our commitment to wellbeing remains the same. As Courtney Hutchison, MJ’s Market President of Colorado, shares, “For as deeply as I care about building high-performing teams, I made a promise to my colleagues, my family and myself, that I will never let anyone get to a point of burnout. It is the responsibility of a company to establish an environment where employees can prioritize balance and implement measures to support this.”
