INDIANAPOLIS (June 11, 2024) – The MJ Companies, a leading financial services firm for nearly 60 years, is proud to announce the appointment of Bethany Peterson as Senior Vice President of Employee Benefits. In this role, Peterson will support the company’s continued growth and will lead the development of infrastructure for future market expansion.

While Peterson will reside in the Denver market, she will lead the operations function for Employee Benefits nationally. Her focus will be building an aligned operational delivery model across The MJ Companies’ three markets (Indianapolis, Phoenix and Denver) to enhance the associate and client experience. Peterson will also work to enhance MJ’s service deliverables as the company scales.

Peterson comes to The MJ Companies from one of the largest broker firms in the world and brings with her more than 20 years’ experience modernizing operational capabilities, optimizing talent engagement and guiding significant business growth. In her most recent role, Peterson launched an emerging compliance model across nearly 2,000 team members and built a proprietary agency management system to determine qualified performance data to drive revenue and optimize impact.

Peterson holds a Life and Health Broker License, as well as a Group Benefits Disability Specialist certification. She is dedicated to her professional development and has completed valuable training, including reality-based leadership and grow big growth, to support her leadership and management abilities.
