Do you ever find yourself seeing the same person every single day? Perhaps, even at the same time? You know you like to walk your dog at 5:30, but so does that neighbor from down the street. You pass each other like clockwork with a mere half smile and continue with your evening routine. Do you ever wonder about their name? Do you ever wonder why they choose to walk their dog at 5:30? Are you ever genuinely curious about the people in your neighborhood and community but aren’t sure how to find out more about them without being “that” neighbor? Well, the community of Noblesville, Indiana had recognized this need and created SERVE Noblesville.

SERVE Noblesville aims to bring the community together by organizing various projects to improve the livability of Noblesville while creating meaningful connections between its residents. Neighbors come together with a shared goal of making a difference. While the projects help improve Noblesville, making it more healthy, active and beautiful, the real power lies in its ability to connect the people who create the community.

COMMUNITY IMPACT

Since its formation in 2012, SERVE Noblesville has engaged more than 4,100 volunteers to help with nearly 265 community projects. SERVE Noblesville has continued to grow, even as potential volunteers’ lives become busier and more demanding, which is a testament to its ability to make those meaningful connections. The growth coincides with a shift from neighborhood-focused projects to community-wide initiatives. Anyone can submit project ideas to SERVE Noblesville, and if determined that volunteers can get it done, they will. Nothing is off-limits.

FUN Fest, June 17, 2023
- Food, Unity, and Neighbors are what make this day great! This event is committed to creating and maintaining a culture that respects and values all individuals by promoting community efforts that celebrate differences.
SERVE Week, June 21, 2023 – June 24, 2023
- Volunteer projects run the gamut from yard beautification to building homes to hosting a community cookout—nothing is off limits. There are multiple ways to get involved with SERVE Week.
  - Have a project idea that will make the Noblesville community a better place? Submit your idea here.
  - Apply to be a project leader! Project leaders help guide volunteers through projects during the week.
  - Want to volunteer with a specific group of your neighbors? Fill out the group application to serve together.
U-Call We-Haul, June 21, 2023 – June 24, 2023
- The U-Call We-Haul is when volunteers collect donated items for the free Community Giveaway. The Community Giveaway is exactly as it sounds. On Saturday, June 24 from 9 AM -1 PM EDT, there is a garage sale where everything that has been donated is offered to the community to come and take as they want, for free!

We encourage all of our Indianapolis-based associates and community partners to participate in this year’s SERVE Week!

To all of our associates and partners who are not based out of Indianapolis, we encourage you to find a way to give back or donate to SERVE Noblesville. Even if it’s just saying hi to that neighbor you pass every day, we challenge every one of you to make those meaningful community connections that SERVE Noblesville is truly all about.
